Led by Bronwyn Chester, author and tree specialist. Starting at the Cemetery’s main gate 1297 Chemin de la Foret
June is the ideal time of year to see the cemetery trees at their different stages of development. The silver maples will already be dropping their fruit, while the fragrant white flowers of the black locust should just be opening, along with the hawthorns and horsechestnuts. As for that Johnny-come-lately, the Kentucky coffee tree, the new leaves should just be out, while last year's burgundy bean pods will still be hanging from the tree's craggy branches.
