Repercussion Theatre and Mount Royal  Cemetery present Shakespeare-in-the-Park'sThe Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare, on the great lawn at the Cemetery’s main entrance, 1297 Chemin de la Forêt.

Women are crazy! Men are idiots! Throughout the ages, the sexes have felt this way about their opposites at one time or another. For Shakespeare, this conflict inspired sheer, comic genius in The Taming of the Shrew.

When fortune-hunting scoundrel Petruchio meets wealthy, shrewish Katherina, sparks fly (and furniture too!) But like any good romantic comedy – when the heated arguments and passionate disdain subside – love prevails.

Come and enjoy this romantic comedy classic that has challenged and entertained audiences for centuries. Watch as our would-be lovers battle it out, because as we know, love is a battlefield.

Under a canopy of stars, join Repercussion Theatre for its 24th season of Shakespeare-in-the-Park for this wildly exciting production of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.

Dont forget your lawn chair, or rent one on-site and support Repercussion Theatre.
